KBC Euro Credit Capital confirmed as Bosnalijek's largest single shareholder

01

Strategic position confirmed

Recent shareholder disclosures filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange and the Registry of Securities (FBiH) confirm KBC Euro Credit Capital Limited as the largest single shareholder of Bosnalijek d.d., holding approximately 23.67% of the company's share capital. The position sits ahead of AS Holding d.o.o. at 19.0% and the custodial and institutional holders that follow.

02

Why it matters

Bosnalijek is the largest pharmaceutical manufacturer in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with 75 years of operating history, EU GMP and US FDA accreditation, and over 70% of revenue generated across 32 export markets. For KBC, the holding anchors the group's exposure to the pharmaceuticals sector and represents a long-term strategic investment in a cash-generative, dividend-paying industrial platform.

03

Looking ahead

KBC continues to support Bosnalijek's strategic roadmap, including portfolio simplification, manufacturing digitalisation, expansion under stringent EU/US FDA standards, and disciplined capital allocation toward high-ROI machinery and warehouse logistics.
